I have been playing around with an area I made and released on the vault a while back, the town of Quaervarr in the Silver Marches. This place has always had a soft spot for me due to it been the setting of the first NWN2 server I ever played on, Moonlight and Shadows.
When I put stuff on the vault I tend to keep it vanilla so people don't have to sort out haks and such but for my reworking I have added the excellent city hak as well as the wonderful witcher items that is producing.
Any way here are the shots of the area:

Through the looking glass.....
Alyes from Hasslefree Miniatures, they do some lovely stuff in 28mm. All very well sculpted and not over sized like Games Workshop.
I will probably get another one of these to do something special with the base, if she had not been glued to the base I would have changed the base to something more suitable but as it is I do like the finish. Now does anyone actually trust that cat!

At Last
Finally finished my elven wizard, only had the figure for about 5 years!
Its Reaper Miniatures figure which is one of the more popular sculpts, I think I have finally manged to do her justice.

One Million Years B.C
Well not quite that far back but Copplestone Castings certainly took that as a inspiration for these cave-people they did a few years back. As usual I seem to have no idea where the rest of these ended up!
I painted these up a little darker than I wanted to but they look good enough, they were also a test to see how good I could get doing a mostly flesh covered figure as I have 6 ogres in the pipeline to paint and they are all bare chested.

There and back again
Well blew the dust of NWN2 this week! I wanted to start playing around with the toolset again so rather than build an area from scratch I took the old fishing village from the vault to play around with, this area was originally destined for the server Grinning Fool was making but alas it never really got going.
As its quite an old area I changed it up a bit and added placeables from the city hak as well as gates in the town and a keep on the hill. Also added the HRC2 system to the area as well as the DMFI, Ill have to look and see if I can get the old Gray Isles Tools onto the module too.
I do want to start working out how to put stuff together so next stop is trying to get one of the weather systems on the vault to work on the server. Anyway some screenshots:

Back to the future.....
Neverwinter Nights 1
That's right..Neverwinter Nights 1! Don't look so surprised, more people still play NWN1 than NWN2. there are nearly always double the number of NWN1 players on PWs than NWN2 players. There are many reasons for this but I don't think it tells the whole story.
The great strength of NWN1 is the ability to run actual campaigns, its possible to actually build and populate a good number of areas between sessions and have each area remain the same quality. Yes the graphics are not as shiny as NWN2 but you won't be spending 10 hours mapping a forest your party will spend 10min walking through and totally miss that lovely waterfall you made and old shrine to a long forgotten god!
I missed out on the multiplayer side of NWN1 when it came out, clucky dial up Internet scared me off. I played the campaigns in single player and that was it, the game destined to gather dust shoved to the back of my gaming shelf. I got into online roleplaying by accident, a friend of mine was raving about a online RPG he was playing and how great it was, it sounded so good I decided to give it a try..alas I am terrible at remembering things like names and I ended up buying the wrong one...a new MMO called Dungeons and Dragons Online.
Well I got lucky, after a few days of playing I blundered into a charming elven thief and her warforged sidekick, Vanya Mia and Aux. A few dungeons were ransacked..many kobolds were slayed and a guild was formed. It turned out VM and Aux still played NWN1, a small group of dedicated role players taking turns to DM adventures for the others in the group. After a few weeks of DDO I got the invite to join up.....shockingly that was over 10 years ago and I am still gaming with that group! Yes people have moved on and new people have come in but the group still meets and plays NWN1 a few times a week.

Mordor Orcs
In the service of the Dark Lord
Finished my first batch of plastic Games Workshops Mordor Orcs. Quite enjoyed painting them but still got another 10 or so to go. I think I managed to catch a good grotty look for them though alas the pictures are not as good as the Rohan ones, I might have to invest in setting up some proper lighting at some point.
Taking a break from painting up a batch of figures to lavish some attention on a Reaper Halfling, hopefully Ill get her to the standard I am happy with so I can display her. WIP picture:
